This week we finally explore the last class in the soldier archtype, the Conqueror. The Conqueror sets himself apart with his ability to dual wield and call up Auras to buff himself and his allies. He is a formidable opponent on the battle field and the main offensive ‘weapon’ in any group.

This Friday we got an update on the beta. Two things are certain:

- Several thousand additional beta invites have been sent out
- Open beta will start around January

So if you aren’t part of the lucky few who got into the beta, then you will have your chance this coming January.

We were also treated to a couple screens of the new re-worked Picts.

The Guardian will certainly be the most heavily armored class in Age of Conan. Naturally you would think that the Guardian fits into the stereotypical role of the tank, but not so as old Jørgen Tharaldsen reminds us! Certainly they are very adapt at defense, but they are also highly capable with polearms… And are the most versatile class in the soldier archtype; with their many defensive and offensive stances, feats and combos.
