When King Mrgl-Mrgl asked Faelthas of Bael’Gun to don a murloc suit and kill the Winterfin murloc leader under the pretext of surrender, he forgot to give Faelthas one vital piece of information. In a related matter, the first test of the Winterfin Caverns trebuchet was a smashing success.
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word “Azeroth” in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing — use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, “mounted mounts”, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

For some people, the game changes a lot at level 80. A whole lot of new opportunities open up. New reputations to work on, new instances to check out, new raids to explore and beat, items to chase that you know you won’t replace in a day or two. For others, it doesn’t really change anything. You pick up your new level 80 spells and abilities and you go right back where you left off, questing in some zone.
Personally, I’m more like that first type. I quest hard until top level, then take a break from it while I work on other things. I quested through Storm Peaks in the Wrath beta, but I haven’t done it on live yet. I hit level 80 in Icecrown and haven’t done much questing since then, I’ve mostly been running raids and heroics, finally replacing my level 70 gear. My first goal, though? I wanted the Reins of the Red Drake.

Every Sunday (usually), Spiritual Guidance will offer practical insight for priests of the holy profession. Your host is Matt Low, the grand poobah of World of Matticus and a founder of PlusHeal, a new healing community for all restorative classes. How do you feel about trinkets? This week Matticus will examine a wide variety of trinkets in the game obtainable in Northrend for healers!
Trinkets are interesting items. They have different abilities and uses best suited for the situation at hand. Here is the majority of trinkets that I believe us healers would be interested in the most and my initial thoughts on them. I’ve even recommended a few of them for us Priests!

Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures (AoC) got another small update this week but in it we received the new Snow Mammoth mount. Even with this new update the discussion has not slowed on other topics and with all the new discussion about AoC it can be a difficult job finding all the good information as the forums become more saturated with thoughtless rants and dramatic post. Let the Border Kingdom Cryer save you the trauma of reading through the drama. Join us as we examine some of the top pieces of discussion over the past week. Wexx returns with his six month check in survey, AoC gets a new mount and the community pleads for a camel mount, all this and more in this week’s Border Kingdom Cryer.
This week’s update brought a new mount to Hyboria and in standing with tradition we have our popular I hate it thread. While the Snow Mammoth is simply a rehash of the preorder mounts with a different skin it does offer all players a chance to now own a siege mount. This as expected has some people grinding their teeth. Funcom US Community Manager Glen "Famine" Swan dropped in to provide some feedback and let the masses know that work still continues.
