As someone who’s been around the convention circuit a time or two, PAX Prime is without a doubt one of my favorite gaming shows. There’s just something about the level of passion radiating from attendees that reminds me why I love what I do. If you live in Washington State and you’ve never had a chance to come experience the show, I’d really like to encourage you to do so. You’ll be glad you did!

I digress.

This year at PAX Prime, we have a lot of fun stuff planned for you. In addition to having a great Aion®: Assault on Balaurea™ demo playable on the show floor, we have a number of killer swag giveaways including the return of our Tutty ’n’ Beans with an exclusive item pack. You can also visit the booth to find out how to win one of two custom Aion modded PC cases sponsored by Antec and NCsoft.

At 4:30 p.m. on Friday, the Aion team hosts a panel in the Raven Theater 3AB to discuss how Aion has evolved in its first year in North America and Europe. Key members of the Aion team, including two Aion developers from Korea, will share how the lore, design, and gameplay of Aion is evolving to give you an improved gaming experience. Near the end of the panel, the audience has an opportunity to ask questions, so come prepared for answers and for a surprise gift for attending! Aion wouldn’t be successful without you, our loyal fans. To recognize that fact, we’re throwing a launch party and you’re invited! Join us at the Experience Music Project for an evening of Aion with a special live performance by pop sensations, the Wonder Girls. Show up early because the party begins at 8:00 p.m.! Due to capacity limitations, admission to the event is limited and will be granted based on a first-come, first-served basis.

To follow us on Foursquare, you’ll first need to create an account either using the Foursquare website or with your mobile device (iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Palm, and so on). Signups for the next round of Character Transfers will begin on Thursday, September 2 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. The maximum transfer caps have been readjusted to limit the amount of transfers possible. If you miss this round, though, don’t worry. You’ll have another opportunity next week.
