Horde Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness
September 3rd, 2007 by admin
In Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, the Horde continued to be dominated by the brutal, demonic orcs, but it also recruited Goblins, the Ogres, and the Forest Trolls, led by Zul’Jin. They were defeated when the warlock Gul’dan, formerly of the Shadow Council, left for the Tomb of Sargeras with a large party of orcs, leaving the rest of the Horde outnumbered by the Alliance. The orcs that weren’t killed or lost were captured and put into internment camps in Lordaeron. The Forest Trolls and ogres made no attempt to rescue their former allies. Feeling abandoned, the orcs no longer considered them a part of the Horde. Although a portion of this former Horde still exists today as the Dark Horde, it is hostile to both the Alliance and the modern Horde. It is led by the son of the first Warchief,Rend Blackhand.
