To support our brave warriors on their steady way to level 60 those monsters will yield double talent points! Additionally the effect shows to yield double experience by defeating monsters as well as finishing quests!

From Friday, 10.09.2010 at 17:00h CEST (4pm BST) until Sunday, 12.09.2010 at 22:00h CEST (9pm BST) you will receive double EXP from every slain monster and finished quest, as well as receiving double TP from defeated monster!

The time has come to be creative once more. Grab that virtual diary of yours, travel through the world of Runes of Magic, visit vast and dangerous places or the most beautiful sceneries and take screenshots of you and your pet. Tell us a story by use of screenshots and text on our forums as if you’d write a diary by participating in our newest contest.

Example: “Dear diary, today my pet Silberfuchs and I encountered a huge minotaur on the hills of the Ystra Highlands. We quickly hid in a cave, searching for a way to elude this beast…too bad that cave was already occupied by one of them giant yetis!…”

The next update of Runes of Magic will bring you a new instance named “The Raksha Temple”. This new dungeon, located in the recently introduced Northern Janost Forest, offers you the possibility for your expedition inside the temple to choose between three levels of difficulty for the first time.

Legend speak of the Angren people, half-beast and half-human, who were bestowed the Northern Janost Forest by King Kalume for their efforts in the war against the demons threatening Zandorya. However, upon settling in their new territory, the Angren were forced to fight against the deity of the forest, Raksha, who believed the Angren would destroy the forest to settle down. The conflict ended in an agreement that the half-beast, half-men would not harm the forest and assist the deity in protecting the forest against outsiders. In return, the protective god would accept them as part of the forest and place them under his protection whilst hiding in a sacred temple.

After centuries of peace, something has upset the balance of this agreement, and Lashana, the current leader of the Angren, calls out for help. It is up to you adventurers, sent by the young King Callaway, to answer this call.

The Raksha Temple dungeon invites 6 of you heroes to explore the sanctuary to calm the anger of the awoken gods and to discover what lies behind their fury. When entering the temple, you will be offered the possibility to choose between three levels of difficulty: easy, normal and hard. Evidently, the harder the level; the better the rewards acquired to calm the wrath of the gods.
