Father of the Warchief Thrall, allies with Orgrim Doomhammer. Previously chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan which was banished by Gul’dan. Durotan was murdered by Gul’dan’s assassins along with his wife and his wolf companion. A stone shrine has been erected in his honor in the Alterac Valley, his home where he led the Frostwolf Clan. It is Durotan who Thrall names the new Orc homeland Durotar he is forging after.
